Service Delivery Models
This portfolio centers on improving understanding of how different service delivery models may impact access to behavioral health services and behavioral health outcomes. Rooted in implementation science, the goal of this portfolio is to support a better functioning, coordinated, and comprehensive system of behavioral health care. Critical to identifying the benefits and challenges of different service delivery models for behavioral health is to understand what works, for whom, under which conditions and settings.
The Center of Excellence is involved in research, evaluation, technical assistance, policy analysis, and workforce development efforts around a wide variety of service models, including those delivered in school, clubhouse, rural, and primary care settings; through peers with lived experience and telehealth; and across the full spectrum of service intensity from prevention activities to crisis intervention.
