- Biography
Sashoy Patterson is a research associate I at the Georgia Health Policy Center. Her research interests include genetic disorders and maternal and child health while some of her applied skills include project management, system dynamics, and qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Patterson works with the Health Policy and Finance team and contributes to multiple research and policy development projects. She performs research and evaluation for maternal and child health policy issues, including telehealth and Medicaid postpartum coverage and care. She also uses health promotion to increase minority blood donation to expand the availability of matched blood for transfusion to sickle cell disease and thalassemia patients under the Registry and Education for Hemovigilance in Hemoglobinopathy Transfusion Therapy‘ project.
