Evaluation and Data Management
Evaluation work at the Center of Excellence for Children’s Behavioral Health focuses on translating qualitative and quantitative data to inform policy and program implementation and practice, with the goal of supporting an effective behavioral health system of care. Specifically, evaluations can be used to:
- Stimulate program, process, and performance improvement
- Assess outcomes and impact
- Inform collective impact and collaboration across agencies
The center specializes in complex and mixed-methods evaluation design that can support informed decision-making that aligns practice and policy. To do this, the center’s evaluation experts serve as a hub for data collection, management, analysis, translation, and dissemination. These multisourced databases can be harnessed to inform regional-, state-, and federal-level projects supporting implementation and outcome evaluations, longitudinal programmatic impact, and data-informed service coordination.
